      Consistently ecological

      Our company has been managed organically since 1955! In 1971 my father was involved in founding BIOLAND. The association's founding meetings took place in our living room!

      While my father mainly farmed vegetables and arable land, we began converting to a winery after taking over in the early 1990s. The varieties Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Regent, as well as various newer varieties (“Piwis”) are grown. These varieties are usually made into hearty dry wines without chaptalization and often with the wine's own yeast flora.

      We have been buying from the Rinklins for a long time and really appreciate the production according to Bioland guidelines, the only organic seal that inspires confidence for us conservative organics, without the Steiner mumbo-jumbo of the Demeter Association. Upon closer contact with Anne and Friedhelm, whose parents were Bioland founding members, you immediately notice that the conviction is lived here and you can be sure that you are getting largely chemical-free products, where conventional viticulture is practically a use of fertilizer and x-icides - is contaminated. For many it's rather unimportant, so let's put it briefly: The stuff simply tastes heavenly - at very fair prices that are in no way exorbitant.
